Who I Am & What I Offer
You may feel stuck, disconnected, or caught in patterns that no longer serve you. You’re here because change feels necessary and you’re ready to begin.
I believe our stories and relationships often contain the keys to our healing. In therapy, we work to slow things down, listen to what’s beneath your experience, and open space for new ways of being. I am an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist serving clients in Nashville, Brentwood, and, virtually, throughout Tennessee.
My work is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Somatic & Attachment-Focused EMDR (S.A.F.E.). These approaches support healing at the level of parts, sensations, and relational connection. I also draw from mindfulness and attachment-based perspectives to help you build safety, awareness, and resilience.

A Bit About Me (Outside the Room)
I became a therapist after decades working as a writer, furniture maker, and book publisher. In that time I worked at magazines, publishers, and started and ran multiple businesses. As both a creative person and business owner, I know the highs, lows, and inevitable struggles that come with being an artist or running a business while juggling marriage and raising children.
I came to the therapy world after my own frustrations juggling work as an artist and business owner while maintaining a marriage and doing my best to be a good father to our two children. This process led me to work with an individual therapist, begin my own 12-Step journey, and to group therapy. In group I was able to experience not only the effect that relational work had on me, but also to watch others transform. This was a powerful process I felt honored to witness.
I now feel honored to share space with clients as they work to understand and find peace with both their past and present in order to create a more fulfilling future. As with my creative practices like woodworking and writing, my work as a therapist is driven by a commitment to curiosity to help us remain grounded, humble, and connected to what matters, ourselves and those we love.
